It's a poster design assignment for my typography course, which required research on a typeface, its origin, and its evolution. The content had to be designed and presented as a poster by considering design principles and the usage of different fonts to enhance typographic skills. From a list of typefaces, I selected Baskerville.
Baskerville is a font that is more elegant and dignified without being stuffy. It is an old yet modern typeface. Thinking of the font as a character gives the feeling of a king with honesty who is majestic and kind. A king who is immortal, who evolves and gets modern and cool with time.
The feelings that arise from looking at Baskerville are:
Old/ Historic,
Peaceful,
Formal,
Trustworthy (not too decorative and disturbing for people to read the font, so a designer can use it without any second thought.),
Modern and up-to-date.
Typeface used:
H0: Gadugi
H1: Felix Titling
H2:  Minion Pro
P1: Baskerville Old Face
P2: Monotype Corsiva
